Armenian students win 4 bronze medals at Open International Biology  Olympiad

ArmInfo. The team of Armenian schoolchildren  won four bronze medals at the Open International Biology Olympiad (OIBO).

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education,  Science, Culture and Sports (MOESCS) of Armenia, the OIBO was held at  the Sirius Educational Center in Russia from May 10 to 17.  A total  of 75 schoolchildren from 15 countries participated in the Olympiad.  In the team representing Armenia, medals were won by 10th grade  student Sara Hakobyan from Heratsi High School, Anahit Unoyan from  Foton Gymnasium, Milena Hayrapetyan from YSU Stem High School and  Lilia Karapetyan from Yerevan High School #184. The Armenian team, as  noted by the Ministry, was led by YSU Biology Faculty research fellow  Ruzanna Adamyan.
