ArmInfo. As part of his working visit to Iran, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
As reported by the press service of the Security Council of Armenia, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of relations between Armenia and Iran and emphasized the importance of intensifying bilateral visits.
Grigoryan also held talks in Tehran with the adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran, head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharazi.
The parties touched upon the unblocking of regional communications and emphasized the importance of the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Armenian government. In this regard, the interlocutors emphasized that both sides have the will, readiness and opportunities to develop relations between Armenia and Iran.
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia also took part in the "Tehran Dialogue - 20205" forum in a question and answer format.
During the Q and A, Grigoryan spoke about the diversification of Armenia's foreign and defense policy and emphasized that the republic is developing relations with all states without exception. He also touched upon the developing Armenian-Iranian relations and the existing opportunities.
He also touched upon the latest developments in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of signing the agreement in terms of establishing peace and stability in the region.
