MESCS Head: Everyone who is aware of the incident at Mkhchyan school  will face termination

ArmInfo.Everyone who was aware of what happened at Mkhchyan school and did not take the appropriate  steps will be fired. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan made this statement in a conversation with journalists, commenting on the outrageous incident at the school in the village of Mkhchyan in the Ararat region. She noted that her stance on this issue is clear, and she is not going to  discuss it. <I have already conveyed my demand to the governor>, - the minister said.

It should be noted that yesterday it became known that several senior  students at this school had presuured two fourth-graders into trying  drugs. As a result, the children developed an addiction, which they  satisfied by buying drugs from these same high school students using  money stolen from their parents.  In addition to the efforts of law  enforcement,  Andreasyan emphasized the importance of understanding   the school's role and taking steps to eliminate and prevent such  incidents. She admitted that there are safety standards issues in the  country's schools. She said that discussions are currently underway  with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments to  develop an appropriate strategy.  "What happened is terrible. We  cannot let it happen again, and we must do everything to prevent  this," Andreasyan noted.
