ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks with foreign counterparts within the framework of the European Political Community summit in Tirana. As reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia, in a conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Pashinyan first l congratulated him on assuming office and wished him success.
The interlocutors discussed the development of Armenian-German cooperation, as well as issues related to the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Nikol Pashinyan also discussed regional processes with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and issues related to Armenia-EU relations. During the meeting with Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Stocker, there was an exchange of views on the future development of Armenian-Austrian relations. Nikol Pashinyan and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen discussed topics related to furthering Armenia- EU cooperation. An exchange of views also occurred with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinilioglu regarding the developments in the region.
Nikol Pashinyan also had brief talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Prince Albert II of Monaco, Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Bercy, Andorran Prime Minister Xavier Espot Zamora and other colleagues.
