Armenia to join One Run marathon 

ArmInfo. More than 500 residents and guests of Yerevan will take part in the large-scale One Run half marathon from the "League of Heroes", which will be held on May 24.

As reported by the press service of the One Run half marathon in  Yerevan, the event will be held with the support of the Ministry of  Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and organized by  Concept Events.

In Yerevan, the race will be held at four distances: 1, 5, 10 or 21.1  km. The race will start in the heart of Yerevan - at the Republic  Square and will go along the streets of Nalbandyan, Isahakyan,  Teryan, Aram, Abovyan, past the Komitas State Conservatory, the  Tumanyan National Puppet Theater, the Spendiaryan National Academic  Opera and Ballet Theater, Swan Lake, the Drama Theater. Stanislavsky  and the Moscow cinema.

On the same day, more than 180,000 people will take to the start of  the half marathon in all regions of Russia, where the event will be  held for the 9th time under the name "ZaBeg.RF", and about 40,000  runners in other countries, including China, Brazil, Egypt, Serbia,  Belarus, Bahrain, Qatar, Venezuela, India, Jordan, Malaysia, Nepal,  UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Lebanon, Tunisia, Armenia and  others.

The One Run half marathon (in Russia - "ZaBeg.RF") was first held on  May 21, 2017, simultaneously in 10 cities of Russia. In 2018, a  single start, regardless of time zones, was already held in 15  cities. In 2019, 19 cities took part. And in 2020, for the first  time, a synchronized start was given in all subjects of the Russian  Federation. In 2023, "ZaBeg.RF" acquired international status and was  held in 5 countries: China, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and  Belarus under the name One Run. In 2024, the number of countries  reached 15.
