ArmInfo. The accusation voiced in the report prepared by Public Television of Armenia (PTA) on the Lele Tepe case and distributed by the country's prosecutor's office is baseless and not grounded in reality.
This is noted in the defense's statement regarding the Lele Tepe case, which was released in response to the publication on the official website of the Prosecutor's Office of Armenia on May 14, titled "Another criminal case related to the 44-day war has been sent to court." As the defense stated, this publication is part of a joint "operation" of the prosecutor's office and Public Television. They pointed out that the day before, on May 13, the "News" program of the same TV channel aired a video discussing "Why the operation called "Lele Tepe" failed", under the headline "The case of Colonel Seyran Ohanyan's son is in court".
The lawyers believe that the information resource is politicizing the case by using the name and image of the hero of Artsakh and opposition member of the National Assembly, Seyran Ohanyan, although he has nothing to do with the criminal case under consideration and is not involved in it in any way.Based on the above, the defense emphasized that the accusation outlined in the statement and video released by the RA Prosecutor's Office is baseless and not grounded in reality. The military unit and all its personnel have never refused to carry out any orders.
