Catholicos of All Armenians thanks Swiss Parliament for their support  for Armenia

ArmInfo.Supreme Patriarch, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, received Erich Fontobelle, a  member of the Swiss National Parliament, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. He expressed gratitude to the Swiss authorities for their support for Armenia and their efforts to overcome the challenges facing the Armenian people.

As reported by the press office of Holy Etchmiadzin, in this regard,  His Holiness referred with appreciation to the resolution initiated  by Tiar Fontobelle and adopted by both chambers of the Swiss  Parliament in favor of protecting the rights of the forcibly  displaced Armenians of Artsakh and ensuring their safe and dignified  return to their historical homeland. 

In turn, Fontobelle presented to the Armenian Patriarch  the process  of adopting the resolution "Peace Forum for Nagorno-Karabakh:  Ensuring the Possibility of Return of Armenians", as well as its  goals and vision for further actions, emphasizing that the return of  the Armenians of Artsakh is a fair requirement of international law  and this issue should be consistently raised and presented in the  relevant international instances.
