ArmInfo. The process of initiating impeachment process against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will become a reality once the Armenian society becomes active. Armen Rustamyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the opposition faction "Armenia", told journalists on May 15.
He mentioned that their faction had already issued a statement on this matter, clearly stating that the necessary conditions for implementing this process in the current realities were absent. However, Rustamyan reiterated his stance on the need for impeachment. Additionally, the he is confident that the inappropriate behavior of deputies in the country's legislative building, constant verbal skirmishes and scuffles, will become a catalyst for initiating the impeachment process of Nikol Pashinyan.
"Everything that happens in the Armenian parliament will, at some point, elicit the desired reaction from the Armenian people. There are serious people who analyze the situation and recognize the need to remove the ruling power as soon as possible," the oppositionist assured. Rustamyan also pointed out the need to change the parliament in the country. "If necessary, let them change the entire parliament. If everyone realizes that the current parliament poses a threat to the country, then concrete steps can be taken," Rustamyan concluded.
