Particularly, the draft laws suggests enabling travel throughout the Republic of Armenia without the need for physical registration certificates and drivers' licenses, as long as these documents are provided by the competent authorities of Armenia. Additionally, the bill doesn't eliminate the option of having a physical registration certificates and drivers' licenses, Instead, applicants will have the choice to present their digital version.
The bill also suggests implementing a state fee for issuing electronic versions of driver's licenses and registration certificates, with the amount being the same as for physical versions. If approved, the initiative, will take effect on September 1, 2025.
