MOESCS fired acting principal of Merdzavan school for supporting  students in boycotting history teacher

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MONKS) has decided to dismiss the acting principal of the school in the village of Merdzavan (Parakar community, Armavir region) for supporting students in boycotting the history teacher.

It should be noted that video footage has been circulating online  showing students booing the history teacher for making statements  that they believe . However, the teacher  denies these claims, stating that this is an organized campaign  against him that started in March.  RA Ministry of Education and  Science strongly condemned the incident that took place at  Merdzavan  school and called the attitude towards the history teacher, involving  the acting director of the school, some teachers, students and their  parents, unacceptable. The department noted that a new acting  director will be appointed at the educational institution in line  with the established procedures. Additionally, the Ministry will take  all necessary measures, including legislative ones, to protect the  rights of teachers in educational institutions and create a healthy,  respectful and safe environment  for education.  ,  the statement of the Ministry of  Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan said.
