Armenia highly appreciates partnership with Kazakhstan - Alen  Simonyan 

ArmInfo.  The RA NA President Alen Simonyan, being in Kazakhstan on an official visit, met with the Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Erlan Koshanov.

Thanking Erlan Koshanov for the invitation, as well as warm  reception, Alen Simonyan underscored that our country highly  appreciates the partnership relations with Kazakhstan and is ready to  make efforts to further deepen them. In this context, the NA  President touched upon the deepening of cooperation between  legislative bodies, proposing to consider the format of an  inter-parliamentary committee on cooperation between the two  parliaments.

Speaking about regional developments and the necessity of signing a  peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the RA NA President  thanked the Kazakh side for supporting the Crossroads of Peace  project presented by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Alen Simonyan drew his colleague's attention also to the problem of  the captives and illegally held persons in Azerbaijan.

The Head of the RA Parliament invited Erlan Koshanov to Armenia on an  official visit.

After the meeting, Alen Simonyan, accompanied by his colleague,  toured the Parliament building of Kazakhstan.
