ArmInfo.Opposition public figure Eduard Ghazaryan has proposed that members of the Armenian Parliament initiate a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He made this statement during a meeting with MP Arman Ghazaryan (from the <Armenia> faction) in the National Assembly, where he has signed up for an appointment expecting to meet representatives of the Parliamentary Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environmental Protection, which is headed by Vahe Ghalumyan.
In justifying his statement, Eduard Ghazaryan referenced several episodes from the government program on territorial administration, agriculture, and environmental protection. He pointed out that practically none of the plans had been implemented. He asked Arman Ghazaryan to convey his proposal to the rest of the parliamentarians, and expressed his willingness to participate in the next meeting to provide all the legal justifications and address any questions the deputies may have. "Our task is to present legal justifications so that the deputies feel confident in carrying out actions that align with their authority and the interests of the state," he said. After the meeting in the National Assembly, Ghazaryan told journalists that he had scheduled appointments with all parliamentary standing committees. He also announced that a meeting with Vice Speaker of the Parliament Hakob Arshakyan will take place on May 16 at 14:00.
