Public and political figures visit Yerablur military pantheon to  commemorate 33rd anniversary of "Wedding in the Mountains" operation

ArmInfo. Public and political figures gather at the Yerablur military pantheon to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the "Wedding in the Mountains" operation which led to the liberation of Shushi. They also observe the Day of  Yerkrapah and remember the Armenian soldiers who gave their lives for  the freedom and independence of the Motherland.

Among the visitors was Sasun Mikaelyan, the chairman of the Yerkrapah  volunteer union. He remembered his participation in the liberation of  Shushi in 1992, where he was wounded, Despite his injuries,   that  day remains one of the happiest in his life.  "We, are still   carrying  the same message of Vazgen Sargsyan (the first Minister of  Defense of Armenia and the chairman of the Yerkrapah volunteer union  - ed.) just as we did  back then and we will continue to do so until  the end. And if today we can unite  as a nation today, then there is  still  much work to be done," Mikaelyan emphasized.
