During a meeting with the Ambassador of France to Armenia Olivier Decottignies Lori Marz Governor Aram Ghazaryan pointed out the steadily developing trade, economic, cultural, scientific, educational, diplomatic and humanitarian, as well as decentralized cooperation between the two countries.
As reported by the press service of the regional municipality, Ghazaryan particularly noted the friendship with Lori Marz and the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region, which began in 2003. In this regard, he stressed the need to further strengthen and expand cooperation with this region, as well as with the sister cities of Lori Marz and France.
In turn, Decottignies also noted the need to expand bilateral cooperation, highlighting the implementation of joint programs in the fields of tourism, culture, agriculture and a number of other areas. The Ambassador also inquired about the work carried out in the communities affected by the floods last year and the process of infrastructure restoration. Governor Lori presented the work carried out in detail, expressing gratitude for the support provided to the families affected by the floods. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
