ArmInfo. The ruling party of Armenia,"Civil Contract," is not getting ready for early parliamentary elections, as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the government hour in parliament on May 7.
"We, as before, are not preparing for early parliamentary elections. We are focused on our daily work, and contacts with citizens are a very important part of it. My urge the members of the Cabinet to spend more time outside their offices, and I am now trying to serve as an example for such a style of work," he noted. Regarding the notion of hybrid war being waged against Armenia (recently stated by Speaker Alen Simonyan, who said that funding comes in particular from the Russian Federation - ed.), Pashinyan noted that he <considers this as an attempt to direct our energy in the wrong direction and the wrong place, and if we have something to say, we must tell the people and the people will pay attention to what needs to be addressed>. The next elections to the National Assembly of Armenia are scheduled for 2026.
