ArmInfo. In connection with the death of former President of the National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan, a government commission has been formed to organize his funeral. The decision to establish the commission was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to the decision of the Prime Minister, as reported by the press service of the RA government, the individual composition of the commission was approved, headed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan. The commission also included Deputy Minister of Finance Vahan Sirunyan, Chairman of the Committee on Higher Education and Science Sargis Hayotsyan, and other officials.
Academician, former president of the National Academy of Sciences, former rector of Yerevan State University Radik Martirosyan died on May 5 at the age of 89.
