ArmInfo. The majority of respondents in Armenia are in favor of publishing the text of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan before signing it, as evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the consulting company MPG "Politring".
When asked whether citizens of Armenia should familiarize themselves with and agree to the provisions and content of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan before signing it, 73% of respondents said "definitely yes", another 13.1% said "rather yes", 5.3% - rather no, 6.5% said "definitely no", and another 2.1% found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, citizens generally negatively assessed the refusal of the Armenian authorities to involve the Russian Federation in the negotiation process with Azerbaijan. When asked about how the Armenian leadership's refusal to allow Russia to mediate in the Armenian- Azerbaijani negotiations affected the course of the negotiations, 10.7% of respondents said it had an absolutely positive impact, 19.1% said it was rather positive, 24.5% - rather negative, 36.1% - absolutely negative, and another 9.6% found it difficult to answer. It should be noted that the survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia from April 29 to May 2 of this year, the sample size was 1,100, with a sampling error of +/- 3%.
