Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting with a delegation led by Marseille Mayor Benoit Payant, highlighted the importance of developing multilateral relations with France, including at the level of local self-government agencies. As reported by the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister, Pashinyan highly appreciated the steps and personal efforts of Benoit Payant to strengthen ties with Armenia.
The Mayor of Marseille noted that he arrived in Armenia to deepen and expand cooperation with Yerevan and added that the development of multi-sectoral relations with Armenia is of great importance to him. It was noted that issues related to collaboration with Yerevan in infrastructure, education, tourism, culture and the implementation of joint programs, as well as the exchange of experience in various areas were discussed during the visit. Several other matters of mutual interest were also touched upon.
