ArmInfo. The grand opening of the Russian Center, the twelfth in Armenia, was held in the Tashir City Culture House. It was created on the initiative of the Educational and Cultural Charitable Foundation "Our Future" with the support of the Tashir Charitable Foundation and the assistance of the city municipality.
According to a message received by ArmInfo, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin, the head of the Tashir City Municipality Edgar Arshakyan, the president of the Tashir Charitable Foundation Vahe Karapetyan and the executive director of the Our Future Foundation Vahram Karapetyan.
In his speech, Kopyrkin noted that the opening of the Russian Center in Tashir is an important step in strengthening humanitarian ties between peoples.
"Tashir is a place where Armenians and Russians have historically lived side by side for centuries. The creation of the Russian Center is not just an event, but a continuation of a common cultural tradition. We are confident that the center will become an integral part of the cultural and educational life of the city," emphasized the head of the Tashir municipality, Edgar Arshakyan.
