Civil Contract faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders condemns   incidents  in  Nor Nork administrative district

ArmInfo.The Civil Contract faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders strongly condemns the  incidents that took place today and yesterday in the Nor Nork administrative district.

The faction's statement notes that the use of foul language, insults  and violence, both psychological and physical, is unacceptable. "In  particular, it is puzzling that law enforcement agencies failed to  assess and take appropriate measures regarding the clearly hooligan  behavior displayed yesterday in the building of the Nor Nork  administrative district, which allowed for further provocations and  subsequent violence. Any form of violence, including psychological  violence, expressed through insults or humiliation of personal  dignity, is unacceptable. Without prevention, such manifestations  often lead to physical violence. We consider it necessary to  emphasize that we have always been and remain ready to listen to  constructive and even harsh criticism, which, however, should be  distinguished from offensive and degrading expressions," the  statement reads.
