Armenia`s Investigative Committee launches criminal case on blogger  assault

ArmInfo.These are hooligans, a dirty and predatory government.  Blogger Artur Chakhoyan, who was  beaten by the head of the Nor Nork district, told journalists about this on April 30 before being taken to the hospital.  "They attacked me, sorry, my head hurts, this is a real dirty government. I am a victim, they detained me," Chakhoyan said.

It should be noted that the RA police have detained 6 people in  connection with this incident, including Chakhoyan. District prefect  Tigran Ter-Margaryan is not among those detained.  The Investigative  Committee has also responded to the incident, with its press  secretary Kima Avdalyan informing on her Facebook page that criminal  proceedings have been initiated under paragraphs 1 and 5, part 2,  article 195 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (use of  violence by a group of individuals).
