ArmInfo. The Artsakh Rights Council has decided to dismantle the tent at Freedom Square in Yerevan , but will continue its activities from the Artsakh representation in Armenia. This was announced by Council member Nzhdeh Iskandaryan at a briefing with journalists on April 29.
He explained that this decision was made because of the recent changes in the stance of the Armenian authorities, who recognized the need of the housing program for the Artsakh people. In particular, according to him, following a meeting on April 28 with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, the government agreed that it had failed to implement the support program for the Artsakh people. According to the Council member, joint efforts on these issues are planned for the near future. Iskandaryan mentioned that within the next ten days, the Council will present the results of its activities to the public, after which an assessment of the work done will be conducted.
