ArmInfo. The Armenian Armed Forces are participating in the NATO-Georgia 2025 exercises that have started on Georgian territory.
As Georgia-Only reports, the exercises officially opened at the Joint Military Center in Krtsanisi on April 28. This is the fourth exercise in the NATO-Georgia exercise cycle, which is held in Georgia every three years.
The NATO-Georgia 2025 exercise is a brigade-level command post exercise using computer technologies, the purpose of which is to prepare a multinational brigade-level unit led by the Georgian side to plan and conduct crisis operations. The exercise will include a field component and multinational staff training, which will once again demonstrate the command and control capabilities of the JTEC and help improve coordination.
They were planned by the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SHAPE) and the General Staff of the Georgian Defence Forces and are conducted in accordance with the scenario, relevant procedures and doctrines developed by NATO. The multinational exercise involves 17 NATO Allies and partners. The following countries are participating in the exercise: Georgia, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia and Tunisia. Several international organisations and units are taking part in the training. The exercise also includes six initiatives defined by the NATO-Georgia Core Package (SNGP): NATO- Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre (JTEC), Military Engineering, Military Police, Military Medical Capability Development, Special Operations Forces, and Standardisation and Codification.
