The idea of establishing a jury trial in Armenia to be discussed -  Minister of Justice

ArmInfo.The proposal by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to introduce a jury trial as part  of amending the Constitution is subject to discussion, as stated by the head of the RA Ministry of Justice, Srbuhi Galyan, in an interview with journalists on April 28.

<We have yet to weigh the positive and negative aspects of  establishing this institution and only then come to a conclusion -  whether or not to utilize it ,> the head of the department Srbuhi  Galyan said in an interview with journalists on April 28.   Additionally, the minister noted that at first glance, in certain  cases, the introduction of the institution of sworn attorneys in the  courts of the republic may be useful. <That is, the integration of  this instrument in very specific cases, in particular, for  particularly serious crimes, can be effective>, the head of the  Ministry of Justice clarified.
