ArmInfo. Newly appointed Ambassador of China to Armenia Li Xingwei presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Mnatsakan Safaryan.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Safaryan congratulated the newly appointed ambassador on the beginning of his mission, wishing him fruitful work in the further development of bilateral relations. At the same time, the Armenian diplomat expressed his readiness to provide all possible support for this.
The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of relations between Armenia and China since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The parties mutually emphasized their commitment to intensifying political dialogue and developing multi- sectoral cooperation between the two countries.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
China has not had an ambassador in Armenia for 9 months. The previous ambassador left office on July 11, 2024.
