ArmInfo. Representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia pay tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, the 110th anniversary of which is celebrated today, April 24.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Petr Piruncik visited Tsitsernakaberd, where he paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. On his Facebook page, the diplomat shared a photo from the memorial complex.
"Today, April 24, we celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. 8 years ago, on April 25, 2017, the Czech Parliament recognized the Armenian Genocide," the Czech Ambassador wrote.
Ambassador of Lithuania to Armenia Andrius Pulokas also honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. "Out of respect for the victims of the Genocide, we remain committed to preventing the recurrence of such crimes," the embassy said in a statement.
Recall that this year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
