Azerbaijan forces fire at house in Armenia`s Khoznavar community

ArmInfo. Enemy forces fired at a residential building in the Khoznavar community of the Syunik  region of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.

"At about 22:20 on April 23, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces  opened fire in the direction of the village of Khoznavar in the  Syunik region, as a result of which a residential building was  damaged. There were no casualties.

We call on the Azerbaijani side to investigate the fact of shelling  of a residential building in Khoznavar and to provide a public  explanation," the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also recalled that the Office of the Prime Minister of  Armenia proposed to create a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to  investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or information about  them.  "However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to this proposal,"  the Armenian Defense Ministry added.
