David Babayan from Baku prison: Be strong, don`t think about us

ArmInfo.. Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh David Babayan has conveyed  a message  to the Armenian society through his family.  The audio recording of the message was obtained by the168. am.  We publish the message without changes:  " Dear friends, people

I want to address all of you and say: don't worry, everything is  normal with us. Recently, information has come out in the media here  about the 1992 Ivanyan events that is completely opposite to what I  said. They have interpreted it one way, I have said the completely  opposite.  I have said that this very Azerbaijani side is accountable  for those events, and it was the result of an internal government  struggle.  In addition, I have never said that there is a reward for  Ivanyan's liberation. That is also incorrectly worded.  I will speak  up about it at the court hearing tomorrow.

In general, we are in normal condition. They treat us very well,  especially in isolation. We have no problems. They have not even said  a bad word once, they have not cast a sharp look in our direction.   Tomorrow is the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. We are  with you in spirit and mind. I will also be at Tsitsernakaberd  in  spirit and mind. Be well, be strong, don't think about us."

On April 22, Azerbaijani media disseminated fake information  regarding the interrogation of David Babayan at the previous court  hearing.
