Media: Armenia  invited to participate in  3rd CIS Games in  Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Armenia's participation in the 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan remains in question, as reported by Aygul Agayeva, Head of Security and Operations at the Baku City Circuit Operating Company (BCC).  "We send invitations to  countries. However, Armenia's participation has not yet been  confirmed. If there are any updates in the next stages, information  will be provided," she said at a press conference, APA reports.

According to Azerbaijani media, the opening and closing ceremonies of  the Games will be held at the Ganja.central stadium.  The III CIS  Games will be held from September 28 to October 8,  spanning 7  cities, including in occupied Artsakh.  The Games' sports program  will include competitions in 23 sports at 12 sports venues. Around  5,500 participants are expected to arrive, representing not only the  CIS countries, but also several other invited states.
