Armenia`s law-enforcers find 66 packages of marijuana-type drugs

ArmInfo. Law enforcement agencies of Armenia have found 66 packages of marijuana-type drugs. This was reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the source, operational information about the  transportation of drugs was received from partners from the National  Security Service. As a result of the measures taken, on April 15 at  18:45 on Pirumyan Street in Yerevan, two residents of Armavir and one  from Goris were detained in a Toyota car and taken to the Armavir  Regional Police Department. During a personal search, two packages  were found on the 30-year-old resident of Goris, one of which  contained about 13 grams of a substance resembling marijuana, and the  other - 66 packages with adhesive tape, which contained a total of  about 135 grams of the same yellowish-green substance. The Toyota was  moved to a specially protected area.

All suspects have been detained. The prepared documents have been  transferred to the territorial investigative department. The  circumstances are being clarified during the preliminary  investigation.
