Families of deceased servicemen call for Artsakh Defense Army ex-commander to address remarks made by Pashinyan`s ally

ArmInfo. Relatives of  servicemen killed during the defense of Artsakh in September 2023 have addressed an open letter to  former commander of the NKR Defense Army Kamo Vardanyan, demanding a response to the statements made by the MP from the ruling Civil Contract faction, Khachatur Sukiasyan. This is stated in Artsakh Info Center's message.

In their letter, the relatives recalled that the MP, in a  conversation with journalists, has claimed that the Artsakh people   did not fight during the latest Azerbaijani aggression. The relatives  of the fallen sons of the Armenian people, angered by Sukiasyan's  statements, reminded him that after more than nine months of  blockade, their loved ones, not sparing their own lives, resisted the  Azerbaijani aggression and saved 120,000 residents of Artsakh from  genocide. In this regard, the relatives of the victims of the 2023  aggression  demanded that Vardanyan promptly issue a clear statement  on the known events. In their letter, they emphasized that  Vardanyan   should have been the first to refute these manipulative statements.
