ArmInfo. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with the Director of the Private Office of the NATO Secretary General, Geoffrey van Leeuwen, as part of his working visit to Brussels.
As reported by the press service of the Security Council of Armenia, the interlocutors discussed the security situation in the South Caucasus and the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Grigoryan spoke about the efforts made by the Armenian government. In turn, Leuven welcomed the completion of negotiations on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasized the significance of efforts aimed at signing the treaty. Bilateral relations and prospects of Armenia-NATO cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.
