ArmInfo. The results of the certification of servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces cannot but cause concern. This was written on his Facebook page by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition faction With Honor.
According to him, the country's parliament is currently discussing the report on the implementation of the government program for 2021-2026 in 2024, during which government officials praise the work done and make pompous statements. "But when you open the reports on the work performed, everything is the other way around. Let's take the certification process, for example. According to the Ministry of Defense, 57% of servicemen who took part in the certification in 2024 passed the threshold for a positive assessment. In the case of the National Security Service, this figure is 35%. In the police, out of 4,063 employees, 1,031 passed the positive threshold.
In the case of the Rescue Service, 1,805 employees took part in the exam, 496 of whom received a positive assessment. Although the Ministry of Defense's indicators are relatively the highest, this is also an unsatisfactory result, since by and large, 43% of the exam participants received unsatisfactory results in physical, professional, drill and fire training, which is an alarming signal about a large number of problems, which I will talk about another time," the deputy noted.
He wondered why the authorities constantly talk about reforms that are supposedly aimed at improvement and progress. "Isn't this your job and an indicator of failure?" the parliamentarian asks.
