ArmInfo. The Artsakh Parliament held a session where it adopted the draft amendments to the Constitution of the Republic, according to which the continuity of state institutions is ensured.
As Artsakh MP Metaxe Hakobyan told Armenian media, the wording has now been drafted in such a way that in any force majeure situation, state institutions can find solutions and are not considered illegal bodies in the future.
She reported that the session was held on April 15, and 30 MPs took part in it, who unanimously voted for the adoption of the draft.
"I hope that this session will serve as an incentive for both the parliament and the institution of the presidency to become more viable. The changes may expand the powers of the president, but this does not mean that the amendments were made for this purpose," Hakobyan concluded.
