Euronest emphasizes the  importance of achieving lasting peace in the  region

ArmInfo. On April 14, NA Vice-Speaker Ruben Rubinyan received the Co-Chair of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Sergey Lagodinsky.  As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia,  the meeting discussed issues on enhancing collaboration between Armenia and the European Union. Ruben Rubinyan pointed out the significance of the visa liberalization process for Armenian citizens.

The parties emphasized the necessity of  establishing lasting peace  in the region. Reference was made to the normalization process of  Armenian-Turkish relations. The  Head of the RA NA delegation to the  Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Maria Karapetyan,  also participated  in the meeting.
