ArmInfo. The claims made by the Armenian authorities regarding the alleged indiscriminate shooting by Azerbaijani armed forces are, at the very least, a blatant lie, as stated by Anna Grigoryan, a member of the RA National Assembly from the opposition faction "Armenia", in a conversation with journalists on April 14.
According to her, it is one thing when such statements are made by individuals, and quite another when they come from the RA Ministry of Defense, which is unacceptable and simply shameful. The deputy noted that local residents, , hear shots almost every day and are feeling depressed due to the possibility of new aggression. The MP stressed that the diplomatic forum in Antalya showed that Baku has long insisted on amending the Constitution of Armenia as a precondition for signing a peace treaty. Anna Grigoryan recalled the statement of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov that in addition to written negotiations for a peace treaty, there are also verbal preconditions, that were agreed upon by the parties in Washington in 2021.
She also recalled the statement of Serdar Kilic, Turkey's special envoy for the normalization of Armenian- Turkish relations, that the issue is not about changing the Constitution, but about how the Armenian people and institutions will implement it. "So no matter how many fairy tales the Armenian authorities tell, it is clear that this is a publicly discussed precondition that is, and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan does not react to it in any way," the MP said.
