RA Prosecutor General elected as candidate for membership in the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors

ArmInfo. RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan has been elected as a candidate for membership in the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAPP). This occurred on April 8, 2025, during the 59th session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAPP), in Buenos Aires.  As reported by the press service of the supervisory body, in line with the regulations of the International Association of Prosecutors, a member of the Executive Committee is appointed by the General Assembly for a 3 year term. The next General Assembly meeting is scheduled in September 2025 in Singapore, where elections for members of the Executive Committee will be held. The Executive Committee serves as the governing and administrative body of the organization, comprising of the president, vice presidents and members.

 Let us recall that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has been a member of the International Association of Prosecutors since January 1, 1999 and this marks its first nomination  for membership  in the Executive Committee.
