Possible implementation of Konrad Adenauer Foundation`s programmes  discussed in Yerevan 

ArmInfo.  On April 8, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan received the Head of the Department Europe and North America of Konrad Adenauer Foundation/Stiftung Lars Hansel.

Welcoming the guest, Arman Yeghoyan valued the activities of the  Foundation in Armenia. The Committee Chair presented to him the  current situation, the challenges in the region. He touched upon the  negotiations going on the peace treaty between Armenia and  Azerbaijan, as well as the normalization process of Armenia- Turkiye  relations, Arman Yeghoyan highly appreciated the role of the role of  the European Union, especially Germany in establishing lasting peace  and stability in the region.

Thanking the Committee Chair for reception, the Head of Department  Europe and North America of Konrad Adenauer Foundation spoke about  the necessity of deepening the bilateral cooperation. The guest  touched upon the ongoing political changes after the snap  parliamentary elections.

The sides discussed the possibilities of implementing new programme  with the support of the Foundation.

The Scientific Associate of the Regional Programme for Political  Dialogue South Caucasus of the Foundation Florian Binder and the Head  of the Yerevan Office Liana Marukyan also took part in the meeting.
