Saxony-Anhalt willing to enhance cultural relations with Armenia

ArmInfo. Saxony-Anhalt is  willing to enhance relations with Armenia in the cultural sphere.  This was stated by the Minister of Culture of Saxony-Anhalt of  Germany, Rainer Robra, during a meeting with the Minister of  Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan.

Robra emphasized that relations with Armenia have traditionally been  productive, but now, according to him, they have reached a  qualitatively high level. He also mentioned that an exhibition  dedicated to an artist from Saxony-Anhalt will soon open at the  History Museum of Armenia.  According to the press service of the  MOESCS, the parties discussed the potential for cooperation in  monument protection and archaeology. It was noted that  Armenia and  Germany are currently conducting joint excavations at various ancient  sites.  Minister Andreasyan, in turn, suggested considering the  possibility of holding Culture Days in both countries  to enhance  cultural life and raise public awareness. According to the source,  they also discussed the potential for cooperation in retraining  teachers who teach German in Armenia, as well as other issues of  mutual interest.
