UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office  advises against all but essential travel to south-west Azerbaijan due to "tensions between Yerevan and Baku"

ArmInfo. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advises its citizens against all but essential  travel to south-west Azerbaijan "due to tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia".

The statement on the website of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office notes that the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advises against all travel to within 5 km of the border with Armenia "due to tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia".  "Please note that this does not include the border of the Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan  exclave with Armenia," the statement says.  FCDO recommends against all but essential travel to the following districts of Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijan: Karvachar, Lachin, Jrakan, Martuni, Shushi, Stepanakert, Akna, Varanda, and Terter.
