Armenia`s Parliament has done absolutely nothing to free Armenian  prisoners of war - Hayakve

ArmInfo. The Armenian Parliament has failed to take any action to secure the release of  Armenian prisoners of war being held in Baku prisons, as noted in the  Armenian civil initiative Hayakve's (Armenian Referendum) statement.   The document notes that it was necessary to carry out active work in  parliamentary diplomacy. "But nothing has been done, nothing: The  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia has friendship groups  with 70 countries. How many of them have raised the issue of Armenian  prisoners with the parliaments of partner countries?" the statement  says.

It is noted  that, in fact, both local and foreign experts have  repeatedly addressed this issue, particularly in recent days. "Lawyer  Jared Genser suggests that Nikol Pashinyan and Ararat Mirzoyan could  have requested the International Committee of the Red Cross and the  OSCE to send observers to the trial.  Switzerland could have been  asked to set up an Armenian Interests Section in its embassy in Baku  and work towards freeing the Armenian hostages. However, nothing is  being done," the statement said.
