Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in his congratulatory message to his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov on the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Baku, has emphasized Russia's commitment to ongoing coordination between the two countries Foreign Ministries.
As reported by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov noted that over the past decades, the multifaceted ties between the two countries have been gradually strengthened and continue to develop in the mainstream of strategic partnership and alliance. "The established trusting dialogue between the Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is of particular importance. We aim to continue the coordinated work of our foreign policy departments. I am convinced that coordination of actions and mutual support on international platforms, fruitful cooperation within the CIS and regional formats will contribute to the implementation of mutually beneficial agreements and will strengthen stability and security in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region," Lavrov concluded.
