ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MECS) of Armenia Artur Martirosyan met with Deputy Minister of Education and Personnel Training of Vietnam Nguyen Van Phuc to discuss cooperation opportunities between the countries in higher and vocational education.
As reported by the press service of MESCS, Martirosyan and Van Phuc highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between their countries through collaboration between educational institutions in the field of vocational training. During the meeting, Nguyen Van Phuc expressed Vietnam's particular interest in the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies. The Deputy Minister of Vietnam stressed the importance of establishing connections between similar structures and pointed out the potential for implementing joint programs.
Touching upon the Armenian government's "Academic City" program, the parties addressed issues related to student exchange, inter-university cooperation and the development of joint educational and research initiatives. Martirosyan mentioned that the draft law "On Higher Education and Science" is currently being developed, with provisions aimed at improving the organization of training for foreign students.
