ArmInfo. A wide range of issues of Armenian-Qatari cooperation were discussed at a meeting in Yerevan by the Deputy Foreign Minister with a delegation led by Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, at the beginning of the meeting the parties noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue between the two countries, mutually emphasizing the need to develop cooperation in the economic, investment, tourism and cultural spheres. The interlocutors mutually emphasized the importance of the embassies' activities in developing the bilateral agenda and agreed to redouble efforts to further expand the rich agenda of relations on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.
Kostanyan expressed gratitude for the greeting from the Qatari Foreign Ministry for the fact that work on the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been completed, and also highly appreciated the interest shown by the top leadership of Qatar in the "Crossroads of Peace" program adopted by the Armenian government.
An exchange of views took place on ways to deepen cooperation between Armenia and the member states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors also touched upon a number of issues on the international and regional agenda of mutual interest.
