ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities are creating such conditions that people have no choice but to leave the country: they first gave up Artsakh, and are now giving up the Artsakh people themselves. Artsakh MP Aramayis Aghabekyan made these remarks in a conversation with journalists during a protest outside the Armenian government building on April 3.
A group of Artsakh residents gathered to demand that the payments of financial assistance in the amount of "40 + 10 thousand drams" be continued, and to receive answers to their questions. The Artsakh MP mentioned that during the early meetings, representatives of the department had assured that the assistance would continue until the main problems of the Artsakh people were addressed. Now, according to him, the people of Artsakh are faced with a situation where the Ministry is denying having committed to a long-term assistance programs.
The MP also pointed out that following the rally of the people of Artsakh on March 29 at Freedom Square, a wave of hatred and attacks against them unfolded on social networks. Touching upon possible actions in this situation, the MP of the Artsakh parliament noted the need for active resistance against authorities and preventing the execution of their anti-national decisions. Additionally, he emphasized that this should concern not only the people of Artsakh, but also the entire population of Armenia - the active part of society, capable of thinking independently.
