ArmInfo. In 2024, the Military Prosecutor's Office of Armenia returned 11 million 310 thousand US dollars to the state in the field of protecting state interests. This is stated in the report on the activities of the prosecutor's office for the past year.
The amount of damage caused to the state, recorded in 2024 by the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Central Military Prosecutor's Office and the military prosecutor's offices of the garrisons, amounted to 5 billion 677 million 550 thousand drams (in 2023: 5 billion 62 million 243 thousand drams).
As a result of the application of prosecutorial measures in 2024, 4 billion 462 million 706 thousand drams were collected, which is equivalent to 11 million 310 thousand US dollars (in 2023: 2 billion 482 million 453 thousand drams).
In 2024, as a result of inspections conducted by the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Central Military Prosecutor's Office and military prosecutor's offices of garrisons, 118 violations were recorded. Based on the results of inspections on issues of protecting state interests, 43 warnings were issued and 32 applications for voluntary compensation for damage caused to the state were submitted.
