ArmInfo. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan, at a meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the country Bolat Imanbayev, emphasized the importance of developing Armenian-Kazakh industrial cooperation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Social Labor of Armenia, Mkrtchyan noted that the deepening of relations between the two countries has become noticeable due to joint work in the socio- economic sphere, mutual visits and constant discussions of industrial issues.
In turn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan also noted the importance of efforts aimed at developing bilateral relations, calling industrial cooperation effective and constructive.
In this regard, the parties drew attention to the fact that the signing of a memorandum of intent on cooperation in the social and labor sphere between the Ministry of Social Labor of Armenia and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan in Yerevan in 2023 gave an additional impetus to the development of sectoral relations. As the meeting participants recalled, the memorandum envisages the exchange of information and experience in the development of legal acts related to labor, employment and social protection, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the role of joint work carried out within the framework of the protocol of the 10th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan was also emphasized. According to the department, in this vein, the parties discussed the process of exchanging information on various legal regulations in the field of social protection, including the labor market, employment and areas of labor law within the framework of the meeting item devoted to deepening cooperation in the field of labor and social protection.
According to the source, the ambassador and the minister also considered the readiness of both sides to participate in various initiatives organized by the two countries.
