ArmInfo. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has mentioned the conditions under which a peace treaty with Armenia can be signed.
As reported by Azerbaijani media, Aliyev stated that the text of the peace treaty, which consists of 17 points, has been fully agreed upon. He made this statement to the press after meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, At the same time, he assured that Azerbaijan does not put forward any additional conditions. "Our conditions are known to Armenia, they are not new. We have stated these conditions a long time ago. However, we have not received a serious response from Armenia yet," Aliyev said.
According to him, Armenia must agree to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group and make amendments to the Constitution of Armenia. "As they say, the ball is in Armenia's court. If Armenia really wants to sign a peace treaty, it must accept these two legal conditions of Azerbaijan," he said.
