


ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has initiated 10 criminal cases regarding the violations that occurred during the snap elections to the Council of Elders of Gyumri on March 30, 2025.
As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the cases were initiated based on reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia. They involve violations of voting secrecy, hindrance of the right to participate in elections and obstruction of election commissions' activities. The criminal proceedings concern the theft of items essential for organizing the electoral process and spreading public statements encouraging hatred, discrimination, intolerance or hostility, as well as engaging in hooliganism. Preliminary investigations are currently ongoing for all 10 of these criminal cases.
