Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Switzerland

ArmInfo. On March 28, Political consultations took place between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation in Bern.  As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the delegations were led by the Director of the European Department of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan and the Head of the Eurasia Division of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ambassador Muriel Peneveyre.

During the consultations, the parties expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Switzerland and emphasized the need to further develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The Armenian side expressed great appreciation for Switzerland's continued support for efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region. Urgent issues on international and regional agenda were also discussed.
